Hi Backers, we thought you might all be pleased that the first production run of Freestate is coming to its end and we are in a position to start to get them shipped out to you all. We hope to be able to advise you all in the coming week or so of the tracking details of your packages that should all be with you very soon. Just a quick reminder to let you know that Your shoes will be shipped straight from Asia – You may well be liable for import taxes/duty depending on your country of residence – we have no control over this and recommend that you check your countries import rates from China with your local import/export government department.

We hope that you guys are all happy with the results of our work – we know we couldn’t have done it without you. Once you have had a chance to get out and about trying them out, we would appreciate any reviews, comments, images or videos you would be kind enough to pass our way – we would love to hear from you all!

Production has started!

Hi Backers – We thought we would share the great news with you guys that our first production run started earlier this week and we have started to see Freestate come together on the production line, we will share some images very soon so you can see them for yourselves. It’s felt like an eternity but we now have the final product running through the factory – and it feels great! We hope to be able to organise the shipping in the coming couple of weeks and to let you all know by mail the tracking details of your pledge. I know we have said thank you so many times but we have to say it again THANK YOU without you we couldn’t have got this going.

Final Final call for all missing surveys!

Hey backers,

A quick reminder to ask that you look to complete the survey sent out last year to ensure you get the correct size and colour on your Freestates - we are moving at full speed at the factory now on our pre-production run and pretty soon we will be cutting the order. To avoid missing out please please please complete the survey sent and let us know exactly what you want so we can get these made in good time!

Update 4 – Final preparations for production.

a Hi backers – Just prior to the guys at our factory taking a well-deserved break for the Chinese New Year they completed the final pre-production trials on Freestate. Last week the development team worked on all manner of testing from seam strengths to elastic pull stress testing to sole flexing and final fits. Its been a crazy busy few weeks working on getting Freestate all set for its maiden production run – we now feel ready to get started on making your shoes in the coming weeks. We feel super confident that you guys are going to love Freestate just as much as we do and we cannot wait to get your shoes up and out to you in time for spring. We hope to have a new website up and running soon where we hope to be able to reveal a little more about the production process as well as some feedback and great shots taken in various locations where we have been busy testing and re testing Freestate in all sorts of conditions to make sure every possible feature works and performs as it should. We would also value your comments and feedback once you have had a chance to try them out as we consider you very much part of the team.

We are all so excited to be getting our first ever shoe off the ground and we cannot thank you guys enough for your amazing support in making our dream of our own shoe brand a reality – Thank you all so so much!!

Also - a final call to make sure you have completed the survey we sent you - we are now passing the point of no return and will be cutting the uppers for the shoes next week - please let us know what you want if you haven't already.

Update 3 – Size trials.

Hi backers – A new week brings with it yet another milestone in the production preparation of our very first Freestate order. This week we have successfully completed the size trials that are all important ahead of any work to prepare the final bulk manufacture in February. Our team in China were more than pleased with the results of these crucial trials and all minor adjustments can now be made and components prepared. We are well on target for manufacture starting the middle of next month upon the factories return from its Chinese New Year celebrations and look forward to sending out the completed order later in the month. We have included with this update some images of the trials as they have progressed through the factory for you to take a look at – we hope you like them.
